200-hour Yoga Teacher Training:

This complete course explores an eclectic mixture of contemporary and classical yoga techniques. The curriculum instruction is based on Vinyasa flow, a powerful and dynamic system that combines asana, pranayama and meditation.

Students will learn about the history of yoga, how to instruct and set up classes; how to utilize verbal cues and how to bring safety into the classroom. In addition, students will gain a deeper understanding of the science of the body with a detailed study of the purpose and benefit of each asana. When presented in this form, yoga training can expand all areas of one’s life.
Tuition Cost: $1500

Summer Immersion 2012, June 8-23: with daily meetings from 9am to 7pm. The schedule will be as follows:
June 8 ~ 4pm-10pm
June 9 ~ 9am – 7pm
Jun 10 ~ 3pm – 7pm
June 11 -16 ~ 9am – 7pm
June 18-23 ~ 9am – 7pm (Graduation!)

500-hour Yoga Teacher Training:

This course provides a deeper understanding of teaching with a focus on advanced techniques, philosophy and Anatomy.  Course participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on teaching experience and mentorship at The Lotus Seed studio.  The program builds on the 200 hour program with an additional 300 hours of group lecture time, teaching hours, community hours and required assignments.

Yoga for Children Teacher Training:

Choose one of the following sessions, and become certified to teach Yoga for Children. This certification is through Yoga Alliance’s 95-hour Children’s Yoga Teacher designation. The Lotus Seed will be holding a kids yoga summer camp at the same time as the two above training sessions, so teacher trainees will have lots of hands-on experience and guidance in teaching yoga to children!
Participants in the training will receive their RCYT designation (Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher) designation upon completion of the training.
